Le Marais

The Parisiens adore Le Marais! This is the place where fashion, history, nightlife and French cuisine infuse into an unforgettable experience. The area is a hip mix of the most “branché” boutiques, bars, restaurants and historical monuments. Aristocratic mansions and cool cafes, hidden gardens and modern art galleries, exquisite gourmet restaurants and street food from all over the world – this is what Le Marais is about. This former Jewish ghetto and current hotspot for the gay community is an epitome of cool Parisian style.

After visiting Place des Vosges, Hôtel Carnavalet, Hôtel de Soubise, Hôtel de Beauvais and Hôtel de Sully, we will enjoy delicious farmers’ produce at the newly renovated Marché des Enfants Rouge. While getting acquainted with the area, we will share historical anecdotes of its past and present.
